Whether it's filing with the RRC, evaluating acquisition targets, or streamlining field operations, Braven exists to help our clients stay compliant, make better decisions, and operate with discipline.
We believe that true operational excellence comes from aligning engineering decisions, field execution, and regulatory responsibilities. That’s why we work closely with operators to simplify compliance processes, uncover performance opportunities, and bring transparency to subsurface and production data. Whether you're managing mature fields, planning development, or preparing assets for acquisition, Braven provides the tools, knowledge, and support to move forward with clarity and precision.
At Braven, we provide more than just regulatory filing support—we offer a fully integrated compliance service that aligns with the way you operate.
Our team combines field experience with regulatory expertise to help small and mid-size operators in Texas meet their obligations with precision, consistency, and minimal overhead.
We manage all key filings, including the P-5, PR, W-10, G-10, H-10, H-15, P-4, W-3, and others, ensuring each submission is accurate, timely, and aligned with field activity. Whether you’re filing a monthly production report, planning a pressure test, or responding to a notice of violation, Braven ensures your submissions are not only accurate and timely—but strategically timed to match what’s happening in the field. Our service includes
With centralized tracking and a proactive approach, we turn compliance into a tool for operational discipline—so your team can focus on performance, not paperwork.
Braven offers practical, field-informed technical support tailored to the needs of small and mid-sized operators. Our approach is grounded in operational realities—not just theory—so we focus on solutions that can be implemented efficiently and deliver measurable impact in the field.
Whether you're aiming to optimize production, evaluate completion strategies, plan well interventions, or reactivate marginal wells, we bring the expertise to connect subsurface understanding with surface execution. One of our core strengths is reservoir characterization, where we integrate geological, petrophysical, and production data to improve decision-making across the asset lifecycle.
Our team works closely with field personnel, engineers, and regulatory teams to design workflows that are technically sound, economically feasible, and compliant with RRC standards.
Our technical consulting services include:
We prioritize performance, safety, and regulatory alignment in every recommendation, helping operators make smart, confident decisions—even in lean environments.
At Braven, technical consulting isn’t just about engineering—it’s about enabling better operations from the reservoir to the wellhead.
We help clients assess, acquire, and operate marginal and underutilized assets with confidence and strategic clarity. Braven supports operators throughout the asset lifecycle—from early-stage opportunity screening to full operational execution—ensuring that every step is backed by technical insight and regulatory awareness.
Our process begins with preliminary screening and due diligence, where we evaluate asset quality, production history, regulatory standing, and infrastructure. We design custom data rooms that organize geological, operational, and financial information for fast, informed decision-making.
Once an acquisition is underway, we help plan for reentry, reactivation, or abandonment, building operation models that account for both risk and return. Whether you’re reworking a single well or evaluating a full lease package, Braven brings structure, discipline, and field knowledge to every scenario. For operators looking to expand or optimize their portfolios, we offer:
At Braven, we turn underperforming assets into informed opportunities—giving you the clarity to act with purpose.

Susana Safar holds BS and MS degrees in Petroleum Engineering and brings over 18 years of international experience across production operations, technology implementation, and regulatory compliance in the oil and gas industry.
Until 2025, she served as Chief Operating Officer at Iskandia Energy Operating Inc., where she was responsible for managing more than 360 conventional wells across West and East Texas. In that role, she led multidisciplinary teams—including field operations, geosciences, production engineering, well services, completions, facilities, and EHS—while driving production enhancement strategies through detailed planning, execution, and cost control. Her leadership ensured regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and alignment with long-term development goals.
Previously at Iskandia, she also held the roles of Director of Operations and Subsurface & Production Forecast Engineer, contributing to field development planning, production forecasting, the implementation of Enhanced Oil Recovery (EoR) techniques, and overall operational efficiency.
Earlier in her career, Susana led Production Technology and Completions for a Shell–PDVSA joint venture in Venezuela, where she played a key role in designing and executing completion strategies that improved field performance and operational safety.
Her experience spans remote and on-site operations in North and South America, with a strong track record in strategic planning, multidisciplinary team coordination, and the successful delivery of production and compliance targets.

Ricardo Robles holds BS and MS degrees in Petroleum Engineering, specializing in Integrated Reservoir Studies. With over 14 years of experience in the energy sector, he has developed deep expertise in Reservoir Engineering, 3D Modeling, Reserve Estimation and Certification, Decline Curve Analysis, and Material Balance Modeling.
He began his career at PDVSA Petroregional del Lago (a Shell–PDVSA–Maurel & Prom joint venture), where he worked on dynamic modeling, well proposals, transient analysis, and reserve estimation for overpressured oil fields. His work earned recognition at SPE’s South American Petroleum and Gas Congress in 2011 for a novel material balance approach.
Later, as Senior Reservoir Engineer at Iskandia Energy Operating, Ricardo focused on optimizing mature fields in Texas. He played a central role in annual reserves updates, production forecasting, enhanced recovery strategies, and technical reporting, collaborating closely with operations, drilling, and finance teams.
At Hethos, Ricardo transitioned into the emerging natural hydrogen sector, leading the integration of geological, geophysical, and geochemical data to evaluate subsurface potential and guide exploration planning. He also supervised acquisition and interpretation of seismic, gravity, and magnetic data for frontier prospecting.
Beyond his industry work, Ricardo is also a professor, teaching petroleum engineering subjects such as secondary and tertiary recovery methods, and has applied his quality management skills (ISO 9001:2015) during his time at Rotorc Argentina, where he led planning and compliance for critical shutdown operations at YPF’s Luján de Cuyo Refinery in Argentina.

Javier is a senior Mechanical Engineer with over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, combining deep technical knowledge with strong operational and leadership skills. His expertise covers Production Operations, Drilling, Workover, Well Services, and HSE Management, as well as planning, budget control, procurement, and team coordination.
Throughout his career, he has held key positions at PDVSA, Shell Venezuela, Maurel & Prom, Drillinktech, Iskandia Energy, and Hethos, supporting both conventional and emerging energy projects. At Shell and Maurel & Prom, he led major development initiatives, supervised drilling campaigns, and managed multidisciplinary teams with a focus on safety, performance, and innovation. He also served as Deputy Operations Manager, ensuring continuity and excellence across field operations.
At Iskandia, Javier was responsible for procurement and operations support for over 360 conventional wells in Texas, streamlining sourcing and contracting processes while aligning closely with field requirements. More recently, at Hethos, he contributed to the early-stage development of natural hydrogen projects, supporting operational planning and risk reduction strategies for this new energy frontier.
In previous roles, he also led global sales and engineering teams, managed well service operations, and executed hundreds of interventions involving coiled tubing, artificial lift optimization, and stimulation techniques. He is recognized for fostering a strong safety culture—achieving years of operations without LTI—and for his ability to integrate field knowledge with strategic planning.
Javier’s leadership style is grounded in discipline, operational excellence, and continuous improvement, making him a valuable advisor and mentor in technically complex and high-responsibility environments.
Our team combines decades of experience in reservoir engineering, regulatory affairs, and field operations. We’ve worked alongside operators in every phase of the asset lifecycle—from initial evaluation and development planning to production optimization and regulatory closure.
